Job Classification & Compensation


The Classification System
The state of New Hampshire has a job classification plan, which is the standard for allocating the salaries of all classified positions. The plan is administered by the Division of Personnel per RSA 21-I: 42, II, III (See http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/I/21-I/21-I-42.htm).
